We saw Dr. Ambro today for the 36 week check and he said he feels Grant is in the 80% for size and he isn't concerned about fluid levels or growth restriction. He doesn't want to change the due date to the estimated date from last weeks ultrasound. Dr. said he thinks I'll be pregnant for "awhile".... It's good news that the Dr. isn't talking about inducing early or a c-section but the bad news is we have a few more weeks of waiting!!
We are getting so excited and impatient! We will keep everyone posted about any changes. Next check up is next wednesday!

Swallowing a watermelon...
So, We had our scheduled 35 week appointment last Thursday. Everything was looking great; my blood pressure was fine, I maintained my weight and Baby Grant is moving like crazy. Dr. Ambro measured my belly and I was measuring 39 weeks!! He asked me if I had swallowed a watermelon :)
Dr. was a little concerned about how big Grant seemed so he sent us for an ultrasound on Friday. Turns out Grant is ready to be a linebacker! He weighs 7lbs 4 oz( he should be about 6lbs). The Ultrasound tech gave me a new adjusted due date of February 24th!
We will see Dr. Ambro again on Thursday and he'll let us know what the options are. So far, he as talked about me going for a few more weeks and then delivering by c-section. I really don't want a c-section so I'll have to do my best negotiating when I seem him later this week!

Ultrasound #1 10/15/12
These are from our first "official" ultrasound at the hospital. This was on 10/15/12. When we left, we thought we were having a girl...Ha!

Hi!
I finally decided the best way to share info and pictures about our new addition would be through the internet so I decided creating a blog was the best way to go!
I'm starting by posting all the pictures and videos from out ultrasounds and I will try to be good about posting updates as Grant's arrival nears! And don't worry, I'll make sure to update it with birthday pics!!
